The Fishman Prefix Series combines state-of-the-art control with
a revolutionary pivot design for instant 9-Volt battery access.
These preamps are featured as original equipment on many of the
world's finest guitars. They are offered here for retrofit and
may require alteration to your guitar. Professional installation
is recommended. The system includes an Acoustic Matrix undersaddle
pickup and Switchjack stereo endpin jack.
This updated preamp offers stereo or mono signal paths and a
new low-noise circuit for the system's undersaddle pickup and
internal microphone. The Prefix Stereo Blender preamp offers
volume control as well as bass, treble, and a wide-range, semi-parametric
EQ which allows you to isolate certain frequencies and boost
or cut them as needed. In addition, the Prefix Stereo Blender
offers a notch filter, and phase switch for performers who desire
more control of their sound.
